The Billing page in Account Settings shows your company's billing details, your subscription and every invoice in one place. You can download invoices and payment receipts, pay an open invoice, and update your card and billing details yourself, without contacting Shapes.
Who can use it
Super Admins only. Other admins and employees don't see the Billing page.
The Billing page is available for accounts billed through Stripe. If your account is billed another way, Billing doesn't appear in Account Settings; contact Shapes support for invoices and billing changes.
Billing is on the web.
How to open the Billing page
Click the menu at the top right of Shapes and choose Account Settings.
Select Billing in the side menu.
The page has three cards: Billing details, Subscription and Invoices.
Billing details
Shows who Shapes bills and how you pay: Company name, Billing email, Phone, Address and Payment method (for example "Visa ending in 4242", with its expiry date). If there's no card on file, No payment method on file appears in red.
Subscription
Seats: the number of seats on your plan.
Plan and apps: your plan and each app, with its price per seat and billing interval. An app billed on a different number of seats shows its own count. Discounts appear under their line, for example "20% off until 22 Sep 2027", and a discount on the whole subscription has its own row.
Current period, and Renews on, Cancels on or Ended on, depending on the subscription. Trial ends shows if you're on a trial.
A status badge next to the title, such as Active, Trial, Past due or Canceled.
How to download an invoice, receipt or tax invoice
The Invoices card lists every invoice issued to your account, newest first, with its Date of issue, Period, Amount and Status. More invoices load as you scroll.
Find the invoice in Invoices.
In the Documents column, click the file you need:
Invoice: downloads the invoice as a PDF.
Receipt: downloads the payment receipt. It appears only for invoices paid through Stripe.
Tax invoice receipt: appears for accounts that receive a tax invoice (חשבונית מס) for each payment, such as Israeli accounts, once it's issued.
How to pay an open invoice
Find the invoice in Invoices. Unpaid invoices show Open, or Overdue in red once their due date has passed.
Click the eye icon next to the status (View and pay invoice).
The invoice opens in a new tab on Stripe's secure page, where you can view and pay it.
How to update your card or billing details
On the Billing details card, click Edit details.
A secure Stripe page opens in a new tab. Update your card, billing email or address there.
Return to Shapes. The Billing page shows the updated details the next time it loads.
Good to know:
Invoice statuses: Paid, Open, Overdue, Void or Uncollectible. Overdue means the invoice is still unpaid after its due date.
The page reads your billing live each time you open it, so it always shows the latest invoices and details.
Changes to your card and billing details are made on Stripe's page, not in Shapes. The Billing page itself is read-only, and you can't change your plan, apps or number of seats from it.
If the page can't load your billing, you'll see We couldn't load your billing details. with Try again.
Use cases
Finance needs last month's invoice: open Billing and download the invoice and its receipt from the Documents column.
The company card has expired: click Edit details and add the new card on Stripe's page.
An invoice is overdue: the red Overdue badge shows it at a glance, and View and pay invoice opens the page to pay it.
